Lender Processing Services' SoftPro Division Hosts 11th Annual User Group Conference

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - Lender Processing Services, Inc. (NYSE:LPS), a leading provider of integrated technology and services to the mortgage and real estate industries, announced that its SoftPro division held its eleventh annual User Group Conference at the Washington Duke Inn & Golf Club in Durham, North Carolina in June.
The 2010 conference featured classroom and panel discussions on the recent Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act (RESPA) changes that were put into place by the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). The new RESPA requirements affected the entire title industry including SoftPro's 13,000 customer sites. The conference allowed SoftPro users to learn first-hand how to deal with the new HUD regulations that required updates to all three of SoftPro's software platforms.
Each year at the conclusion of the conference, LPS SoftPro surveys attendees regarding their conference experience. Responses from this year's conference were extremely positive. One conference attendee wrote, "A must for all companies using SoftPro products. Every year we get something worth the price of admission from the conference." Another SoftPro user said, "Overall, I thought it was excellent! The staff was very friendly and knowledgable."

The 2010 conference also offered its customers an opportunity to see first-hand SoftPro 360. LPS SoftPro's newest service, SoftPro 360 is a dynamic, web-based portal that allows SoftPro customers to order closing and title services within their SoftPro software. Not only does 360 save time through its direct link to real estate service providers, it also saves SoftPro customers money through discounted rates for services ordered through the portal.
LPS SoftPro looks forward to hosting its 12th Annual User Group Conference in 2011. Details regarding the dates and location for the 2011 conference will be announced this fall.
